Payment Methods

Every way to pay, and what to expect from each.

Credit & Debit

Credit and debit card payments don't need much explanation, but many banks will initially flag the transaction as fraud the first time you use this method with us. If that happens, just call your bank or card issuer and let them know you're making an online purchase — it's a common occurrence any time you order from a new company online.

ACH / E-Check

ACH — sometimes called e-check or direct debit — withdraws funds directly from your checking account, much like a debit card. The difference is that ACH uses your account's routing and account numbers instead of a 16-digit card number. ACH payments are safe, and while they take longer than some methods, customers with an established history of completed payments will usually have the processing hold waived. To pay by ACH, call or email our customer service team with your account information after placing your order. Typical processing time is 2–3 business days, not counting weekends and holidays — so an ACH order placed after 2:00 PM Eastern on a Wednesday may not ship until after the weekend.

Bitcoin / Cryptocurrency

Crypto payments involve a few more steps — purchasing the currency at an exchange, placing your order on our site, and sending the crypto digitally at checkout. That may sound technical, but in practice it's about as easy as sending an email. We've created a separate page detailing the process if you'd like to try it. Crypto is our fastest and generally most reliable payment method once you know how to use it, and orders paid with crypto by 1:00 PM Eastern usually ship the same day.

Max Redemption

Max Redemption lets you use your credit or debit card by first buying an electronic gift certificate and then redeeming it with us. It works similarly to crypto behind the scenes, but it's much easier for the customer — their software lets you sign up, get verified, and complete the transaction all in one place, with no other websites or apps needed. It also keeps details about your purchase private from your financial institution, since all they see is an e-gift certificate. The main drawback is that the service occasionally goes down for software maintenance or banking connection issues.

Mail-In Payment

Mailing your payment isn't the fastest way to shop, but if you don't have a checking account or can't use the other methods, sending a check or money order is a simple option available to everyone. Keep in mind that mail can take several days to reach us, and if you're buying a postal money order you'll need to visit the post office. If you have personal checks or access to Western Union, MoneyGram, or another money order provider, you can send those from your own mailbox. Let customer service know you're sending a check or money order and we may be able to speed up processing.
